- Poke the holes SMALL first with the scissor tip and test the string fit.
- Poke two small holes in the sides of a pink paper cup.
- Cut one paper ear template first and check the size on the headband, ears should stand about 3 inches tall.
- Then cut two pink felt triangles with the scissors and tape them to the pink headband as ears.
- Thread the pink string through the holes, then tie the cup gently in front of the nose.
Tip: draw two small black nostril dots on the bottom of each cup snout with a marker. Nostrils are the detail that turns a taped cup into a snout.

- Pink t-shirts or pajamas, 1 per person (buy: thrift store, or own: from closet)
- Pink headband, 1 per person (buy: dollar store)
- Pink paper cup, 1 per snout (own: from the kitchen drawer)
- Pink felt or construction paper, 2 triangles per ear (buy: craft store)
- Pink string or yarn, 1 arm length per snout (own: from the craft drawer)
- Scissors, 1 pair, and clear tape, 1 roll (own: household tools)
- Pink blush or face paint for cheeks, 1 (buy: drugstore)
Steps

Common questions
- How do you tie the snout on without it hurting?
- Thread the pink string through the holes and tie it loosely behind the head with a bow, never a knot. It should rest against the nose, not press into it, if it leaves a mark, it is too tight.
- The ears keep flopping on the headband. Fix?
- Tape each triangle with a tab folded over the band on both sides, not just stuck on one side. The double-sided tab is what keeps felt ears upright.
