Add the Pick My Costume connector

This connector gives your AI assistant three costume-picking tools, backed by 137 real costume ideas with step-by-step build guides. It is read-only: it never buys anything, never asks for an account, and never collects your data. Your questions are processed in memory and not logged.

Add it in ChatGPT

The easiest way, once it is listed: open the plugins directory in ChatGPT, search for Pick My Costume, and install it with one click.

Before it is listed, the manual route needs a ChatGPT plan that supports developer mode (Business or Enterprise; Pro works for read-only tools). On those plans: add a custom MCP server in ChatGPT's settings and paste the connector URL above. It is not available on the Plus plan.

Add it in Claude

Once it is listed: open Claude's connectors directory, search for Pick My Costume, and add it.

Otherwise: in Claude's settings, add a custom connector and paste the connector URL above. (Again, the exact labels shift as these products update; look for connectors or custom integrations.)

What the three tools do

• Pick a costume. Answer three quick questions (who it is for, the vibe, how much effort you want) and get 3 costume ideas, each with a one-line reason it fits.
• Get a build guide. Pick any idea and get the full how-to: materials list, numbered steps, how long it takes, what it costs, and answers to common questions.
• Search by what you own. List stuff you already have at home (a bedsheet, cardboard, face paint) and get ideas ranked by how much of each one you can already make, plus what you would still need.
