Little Witch
⏱ 15 min hands-onEasy
You need: Black cape or black bedsheet, 1; Pointy witch hat, 1; Black-and-white striped tights, 1 pair; Green non-toxic
Black cape, pointy hat, striped tights, green face paint.
Short answer: a pointy hat, a dark base you already own, and one strong color. The hat does most of the work; everything else is range. A kid witch takes 15 minutes with a black cape and a bought hat. The adult green witch goes bigger: a long green dress, a hat shaped from black cardboard, dramatic makeup, 45 minutes. Two of you can split into a good witch and a bad witch in 20 minutes, one in pink, one in black with green face paint. Three of you can run the full sister trio in 35. Every build below lists the real hands-on time and exactly what you need, and links to the full step-by-step guide.

One wearer under ten: start with the Little Witch. It is the fastest build here and the cape can be cut from a black bedsheet. One adult going all in: the Emerald Witch, the green one everyone photographs. Two or three of you: the Good Witch, Bad Witch duo splits pink against black, and the Witchy Sister Trio gives each sister her own color.

The fastest build here is the Little Witch at 15 minutes of hands-on time. The duo takes 20 minutes, the trio 35, and the Emerald Witch 45. Every card shows the real hands-on time from its guide.
Not always. The Little Witch and the sister trio use a bought hat, but the Emerald Witch guide shapes the hat from a sheet of black cardboard. A hat left over from an old costume works for any of them.
The pointy hat. A black dress or cape alone reads as formal; add the hat and it reads witch from across the street. Green face paint is the second signal: it turns the same outfit into the wicked version.
The Little Witch is built for kids, with a cape cut from a black bedsheet or t-shirt and a bought hat. The duo and trio scale down too, and every guide lists its own safety notes.
