You need

- Toy microphone per person, 1 each (buy: dollar store)
- Hair gel, 1 travel-size tube (make: from the bathroom)
- Sunglasses per person, 1 each, optional (make: from the drawer)
Steps
- Buy the neon fabric paint, temporary tattoos, toy microphones, and hair gel. Lay out the matching black or white outfits.
- Decide the pattern together first and sketch it on paper, then test the neon fabric paint on an inside seam so you know how it looks. Paint matching glowing patterns on everyone: lightning marks on the sleeves, circles on the chest. Keep all paint on the clothes, off faces and away from eyes. Let the paint dry flat for 2 hours.
- Apply neon eyeliner or temporary tattoos on cheeks and hands. Style hair up and forward with the gel.
- Safety: keep paint off faces and away from eyes.

- No, it needs a black light to pop. Without one it still reads as bright neon color, so check what the venue has before you count on the glow.
- How do you keep the paint from cracking when they move?
- Paint thin lines, not thick blobs, and let it dry the full 2 hours. Thick paint cracks the first time an arm bends.
