You need

• 1 brown or beige bathrobe or long coat per knight (make: from closet)
• 1 toy energy-blade prop per knight (buy: toy store)
• 1 wide belt or rope sash per knight (make: from closet)
• 1 pair dark pants and boots per knight (make: from closet)
• Brown face paint for a hood shadow, 1 tube, optional (buy: drugstore)

Steps

1. Buy the toy energy-blade props. Pull the bathrobes, belts, dark pants, and boots from the closet.
2. Wear the bathrobe over dark pants with the belt tied at the waist. Pull the hood up.
3. Carry the energy blade unlit until the photo. Two stances: blade up ready, or blade down calm.
4. Safety: keep the toy blades pointed up or down, never at faces. Sparring stays slow and pretend.
5. Line up the knights in a row, ignite the blades, and take the council photo.
6. Optional pro finish: tie the belt over the robe at the natural waist and let the robe flare below it. Belted robes read as uniform; unbelted robes read as bath time.

Common questions

Are toy energy blades safe for kids?

Yes if they are soft foam or plastic with rounded tips. Keep blades pointed up or down, never at faces, and skip hard plastic for kids under 6.

How do you make a bathrobe not look like a bathrobe?

Belt it tight at the waist, pull the hood up, and wear dark pants and boots underneath. The belt and the boots do all the work.
