Cut two triangle ears from the blue felt and glue them to a strip that pins inside the hood.
Glue dark gray felt spots onto the hoodie and one pant leg.
Paint a black nose and a few whisker dots on the child's face with a fingertip.
Pin a short felt tail to the back of the sweatpants, pinning from inside so pin backs face the fabric.

Tip: teach the pup one trick, like sitting for a treat. A trick makes the costume.

How do you keep the ears up on the hood?

Glue each ear to a small cardboard triangle first, then pin the triangles inside the hood. Felt alone flops.

What if the kid will not keep the hood up?

Pin the ears to a soft headband instead. The hood stays down and the ears still read.
